Oct. 25th, 2007 - Project54Tour - Upliftment Jamaica Benefit Concert

We had a meeting two days ago with Gary Foster, EVP of Rush Communications, to present an awareness campaign and marketing program for Project54Tour - Upliftment Jamaica in 2008.

It all came about because of our recently formed alliance with G-City Entertainment to support six (6) Caribbean Music Events in 2008, which we believe could be the perfect vehicle to introduce a benefit concert to help Mr. Foster continue to build a sustainable community in St. Thomas, Jamaica.

Lets just say Gary was pleased with our proposal and we look forward to the NJ International Reggae Fest in 2008.

Oct. 22nd, 2007 - RoadBlockRadio & Project54Tour Alliance

Great News!!! Just received an email from G-City Entertainment, a media company in NJ, which is dedicated to bringing Caribbean American entertainment to the New Jersey region.

They've agreed to an alliance with Project54Tour and RoadBlockRadio, a leading edge online entertainment radio station, which features News, Music and Talk (i.e. Community Connections) with a Caribbean-American flare.

Together, we look to broaden the demographic of our listening audience and inspire social change globally.

Oct. 16th, 2007 - Project54Tour Stands Up and Speaks Out With Y&R

The time is "officially" 9:07pm GMT (5:07pm EST) on October 16th. Project54Tour is now Standing Up and Speaking Out to show that we refuse to stay silent or seated in the face of poverty.

Yesterday, we met with L.H. Whelchel of Young and Rubicam Brands to introduce Project54Tour and discuss Y&R's STAND UP SPEAK OUT campaign with the UN to make governments honour their promises. See link: standagainstpoverty.org

How can we help bring awareness to these commitments on more and better aid, debt cancellation, trade justice, gender equality and public accountability?

Stay tuned for P54 "Stand Up Speak Out" Online Public Radio Program

Oct. 3rd, 2007 - One Love For Upliftment Jamaica

We attended a press conference last night for Upliftment Jamaica's announcement of a new campaign called ''CUM BACK YA''. It's a nine (9) day celebration in Jamaica for the parish of St. Thomas. The speaker of the event was Gary Foster, Chairman of Upliftment Jamaica and EVP of Rush Communications.

He spoke about Upliftment Jamaica's tourism program and economic development plan to rebuild St. Thomas, which is the most under developed parish in Jamaica. These goals are in-line with what Project54Tour believes is the key to building sustainable communities in Africa and empowering the youth.
