Sept. 17th, 2007 - Adopt-A-Light Connects With Project54Tour
We just received an email from Esther Passaris, one of Kenya's best-known businesswoman. She's the CEO of Adopt-A-Light project, which lights-up city streets and slums in Nairobi.
Her vision is credited with a significant reduction in crime, especially rape, and has allowed communiy shops to stay open and schoolchildren to study later. In addition, the project supports the urban slums where 60% of Narobi's population lives.

We're pleased to announce that Ms. Passaris has launched a new project called "Be One in a Million". She aims to get one million Kenyans to pledge at least 100 shillings ($1.50) a month for various projects to help the poor. See link: oneinamillion.co.ke/index.php
